With the European launch of the revolutionary wax that is Fusso Coat 12 Months, we started looking for the right way to promote it. The product itself is not a large investment, but the application takes time, so it became clear that to be successful, we had to speak the language of benefits. And what greater benefit to a vehicle owner is there than to protect the value of their property through unparalleled protection in the harshest of conditions? This is how Protection Time was born.
2018: Love bad weather days
The first, fully end-customer-oriented campaign was launched in autumn 2018. The striking visuals of the rain- and snow-filled roads were complemented by shapes everyone associates with the everyday object that is an umbrella. By protecting the car from harsh weather conditions, Fusso Coat 12 Months acts like just such an umbrella, repelling water, dirt and the usual impurities of the autumn/winter season, such as road salt, mud or acid rain.
2019: Protection in every conditions
Our aspiration was to create a product that vehicle owners would go for as soon as the good weather season was over. For this reason, Protection Time was launched on a few occasions when we were anticipating a rainy spring. In 2019, we debuted a visual motive in which the car drives through all imaginable weather conditions. The vehicle is, of course, helped along the way by Fusso Coat 12 Months and Ultra Glaco. The graphic style with the car visible from the side was a big hit, and it inspired numerous further Soft99 campaigns.
2022: New standard of car care
The style of graphics with the car visible from the side representing the Protection Time campaign has stayed with us to this day, adorning detailing studios, car washes, garages and shops with its distinctive symbolism.
